Xu Han, born into an artistic family in 1988, began her piano studies at the age of four. Currently on a full scholarship, Ms. Han attends the Manhattan School of Music studying with Dr. Solomon Mikowsky. Other teachers who have been of enormous influence to her include Yuan Sheng, Tara Hofmeister, Tamás Ungár, Thomas Schumacher and Hua Chang. Prestigious awards she has won in her career include the First Prizes in the Asian TOYAMA Music Competition in Hong Kong, the Nordan Scholarship Music Competition in Texas Christian University, the Solo Piano Competition and the Strauss Piano Competition in Dalian, China, the Silver Winner in the Crescendo Music Awards in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the Third Prize in the Young Artists Piano Competition in New York and the Xinghai Piano Competition in Beijing.

She has concertized throughout Spain in Valladolid, Las Palmas, La Palma, Graus and Tenerife Norte. In China, she has performed in major venues in Beijing, Shenyang, Dalian, Baotou, Zhengzhou and Yinchuan. Ms. Han has also performed in New York, Hong Kong, Texas, Kansas and Oklahoma.
