Stanislav Khristenko is a graduate of the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory where he studied with professor Vera Gornostaeva, Maxim Philippov and Daria Petrova. With the support of violinist, Vladimir Spivakov, cellist and conductor Mstislav Rostropovich, and his teacher Vera Gornostaeva, he made his debuts in major halls in Europe, Asia and North America. He appeared in the Great Hall of the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory, Berlin Philharmonie, Daichi Seimei Hall in Japan, and Severance Hall in the United States. A successful prizewinner, Mr. Khristenko was the First Prize Winner of the Mauro Paolo Monopoli Prize in the 2006 International Piano Competition in Barletta, Italy and the First Prize Winner of the Benedetto XIII Prize in the 2006 International Piano Competition in Gravina, Italy. He was the Second Prize Winner at the 2006 Takamatsu International Piano Competition in Japan and the Third Prize Winner of the 2005 Cleveland International Piano Competition. In 2008 he won First Place in the Bösendorfer International Piano Competition, First Place in the Wideman International Piano Competition and Second Place in the Tongyeong International Competition in South Korea. Moving to the United States in 2008, he is currently attending the Cleveland Institute of Music where he is a student of Sergei Babayan.
