Alexander Vasadze, at the age of five, entered the V. Saradjishvili Talented Pupils Musical College as a student of Zurab Vasadze. Before the age of 10, he won prizes in the competition “Talpioni”, the 1st Worldwide Youth “Delpiada” and the 2nd Competition of Musician-Performers of Georgia. In 2000, at age 11, he entered the Z. Paliashvili Tbilisi Central Musical College in the class of Manana Doidjashvili, professor and rector of the Tbilisi State Conservatory. In 2003 he entered the class of Professor Edisher Rusishvili, took part in the International Festival “Autumn Tbilisi”, had concerts with the conductor, Maestro V. Kakhidze and participated in the 2nd S. Tsintsadze Competition of Chamber Ensembles. In 2005 he became a laureate of the 2nd Tbilisi International Competition of young musician-performers and won the prize for the best performance of a Georgian composer. In 2006 Mr. Vasadze graduated from Z. Paliashvili Tbilisi Central Musical college and entered V.Saradjishvili Tbilisi State Conservatoire and is currently a third year undergraduate student in the class of Professor E. Rusishvili. In 2007 he won Third Prize in the 4th Competition of Musician-Performers of Georgia and in 2008 he participated in a gala concert, in Munich and performed a concerto with orchestra in the Grand Hall of Tbilisi State Conservatoire.
