The non-refundable APPLICATION FEE of $100 US may be paid by certified check, money order, Western Union or PayPal. To pay by cashier's check or money order, make the check payable to the Jose Iturbi Foundation and mail it with your supplemental materials. To pay through Western Union, send the money to "Mona Lands, Los Angeles, California, USA" with an email notification of the Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN) sent to mlands@iturbifoundation.com.

Current BIO in 200 words or less, written in a formal manner that is edited and ready to be printed in the competition program and website should you be chosen to participate as a contestant in the competition.

DVD made within the last calendar year of at least 20 minutes and no longer than 45 minutes in length. The repertoire will consist of works personally chosen by the applicant and may or may not be selected from works offered for the Preliminary, Semi-Final and Final Round recitals. A minimum of 4 different selections must be performed. These selections may be single works and/or a movement from a larger work.
Mark the DVD with your name and send it with the list of tracks and selections.

A document supporting your Proof of Age such as a copy of your birth certificate, passport or driver’s license.
- Two letters of recommendation
A letter from a recent or current teacher written to specifically recommend the applicant to the Fourth José Iturbi International Music Competition.
A letter from a musician or musicians of acknowledged professional standing.
These letters must be sealed and signed across the back flap of the envelope. A letter of recommendation sent by email directly from the recommender will also be acceptable. This can be emailed to mlands@iturbifoundation.com

Copies of two full recital programs performed within the last 3 years.

A personal statement about what you hope to achieve by entering the competition (between 100 and 150 words). It must be written in English or an English translation must be provided.
